About the Event
WHS Gift Shop at the Washington Farmers Market
The WHS "Open Air" Gift Shop will be at the Farmers Market on historic Washington Common from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today (weather permitting). Â
Please stop by and say hello to your friends and neighbors manning our booth! While there, you can check out our large assortment of Washington themed items - mugs, afghans, trivets, artwork, and books on Washington history.
In connection to our Sumer-long exhibit of the works of Washington's own W.P.A. artist Nathaniel C. Burwash, we are also offering a selection of matted copies of Nat's beautiful Washington related watercolors, as well as a packaged set of gift cards. Both of these items are available through the kind permission of the New Hampshire State Library, who have loaned us the original paintings now on display in our Museum.
After visiting us on the Common, remember that our three buildings are also open every Saturday from July through Labor Day. Â Our Museum and Barn at 100 Halfmoon Pond Road are open from 10-2, and the historic District #5 Schoolhouse at 2570 East Washington Road is open from 1-3. Â
If you can't make it to the Farmers Market, remember that you can always purchase items through our online Gift Shop!
