Property owners Beth and Joe Lampron graciously invite you to tour the site of the Burwash cabin and studio.

{This is a companion event to our Summer-long exhibit of the works of Washington W.P.A artists Nat Burwash}

On July 23 and August 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., property owners Beth and Joe Lampron welcome you to tour the site of the cabin and studio where from 1934 - 1941 W.P.A. artist Nat Burwash turned out beautiful watercolors for the New Hampshire Federal Art Project.  The Burwash's moved to Cambridge, MA at the start of WW2 when the W.P.A. programs ended, and Nat switched from painting to sculpting/wood carving in 1946, but they continued to own the cabin and Nat maintained a working studio there until 1980, when the cabin was sold to help pay for Ida's  medical expenses.
