Special Program 7pm - 8pm.

Please join us as for the first time since 2011 Clara May Hurd returns via the person of WHS' own Gwen Gaskell!  Using her extensive knowledge of decades of Hurd family diaries, Gwen, portraying Clara, brings to life three generations of the Hurd family as well as town life in Washington as it was expereinced in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Gwen Gaskell is a past president of the Washington Historical Society and currently serves as archivist - a role which she has expertly filled for many years.  She has created many wonderful exhibits for the WHS and is our resident expert on the Hurd Family and their diaries.
