When built in 1849, this classic one-room schoolhouse was cited as a “model school house” by the NH State Board of Education. The school retains its original desks and furnishings and essentially looks just as it did when it closed in 1938. Come step through our door and take a fascinating journey back through time to experience the classroom that the children of East Washington did in the mid-19th to early 20th century!
