Join us for a special evening at the Museum when friends of Nat & Ida Burwash share memories of the W.P.A. artist and his wife, and reminisce about what life was like in the "Hobo Ranch" area off Washington's Bailey Road. An RSVP is Requested.

Remembering Nat & Ida -- An Informal Gathering
- There is very limited parking at the Museum, so please park at the Common and walk down if you are able to do so
- This is a companion event to our Summer-long exhibit of the works of Washington W.P.A artists Nat Burwash
- Please note that full sculpture exhibit in the Barn will not be open for this special event - but a few pieces will be on veiw in the Museum. Â The full sculpture exhibit in the Barn will be open from 10-2 Saturday, August 20.
Please join us for a very special event on Friday evening, August 19, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., when friends of Washington's own W.P.A. artist Nathaniel C. Burwash and his wife Ida will gather informally amdist our amazing Summer-long exhibit of Nat's beautiful watercolors, sketches, and sculptures and reminisce about the Burwashes, Nat's art, and what life was like in the "Hobo Ranch" area of Bailey Road in the 1940's and 1950's. Â
Stories will be shared, questions will be answered, and you will enjoy veiwing many of Nat's original works -- including W.P.A. watercolors on loan from the New Hampshire State Library, and sculptures and sketches on loan from private collections and the New Dawn Trust, an organization dedicted to educating the public about the artist, his artwork, and his life philosophy.
Light refreshment will be offered.
